To create a new editorial, it is necessary to follow the steps below:

1) Open the Issue and choose the tab “Editorials

2) Click on the icon containing a green +; 
 

 

3) Fill in the fields in the window showing up on the left side of the screen 

FieldDescription
Title*the title of your editorial
File this value is automatically filled in by TIMONE System as soon as the editorial is in sync with an editorial system
Quantitythe number of pages of the editorial (this quantity can be changed also later)
Notesadditional notes about the editorial
Sectionthe section of the editorial
Dossierthe WoodWing Enterprise dossier the editorial shall be contained in
Editorial Templatethe layout template to be used for creating the InDesign file in the editorial system (the same layout templates are available in both TIMONE Plan and editorial system
Status the workflow status of the editorial (the workflow part which needs planning and production to be synchronized will have identical workflow steps in both TIMONE Plan and editorial system). In TIMONE Plan you can have also additional workflow steps (for example "Planned", when the editorial service is only planned but not yet in production). The status is automatically assigned to editorials based on the work in progress.

4) Once you have filled in all the information you need, confirm using the green tick on the upper left side of the panel.   


5) The created editorial is now available within the Editorials list.
