The creation of a new Editorial service is a feature exclusive to the role of Graphic Designerallows the management of the entire cycle of the workflow of Peppers through the webApp and InDesign.

The features available with the component Peppers of InDesign are made evident from the menu that is installed, in which the individual items are activated according to the status of documents, with the exception of the heading Preferences that is always active.

In addition to the menu item that makes available the operations of ConnectionEnter and Recovery of a service (i.e. the data contained within a document InDesign) is available command processing.

The Command Processing is present in the context menu that operates on objects of type image (right image) and acts on the selection of one or more images: it activates the opening of the window with the characteristics required by the working operation. The component of InDesign of InDesign syncs automatically when you open the application.

The management of the menu Peppers and contextual menu Processing allows to you to offer the user the options necessary for its integration with Peppers.

The activation of the elements depends on the status of the document (for the menu items), which is detected at the opening and stored in the label of the document. The voice of Processing contextual menu activates when the selection is formed from one or more images: not active at the moment, on a group(even if the format of images only).

Graphic Designer - InDesign

The previous step to the jobs assignment and to all the editorial workflow is to connect the editorial to Peppers.

It is necessary to store the document in the editorial system, immediately after the connection so as not to lose the label that has been assigned by Peppers.

1. The Graphic Designer open an InDesign Layout from Smart Connection;

2. If you have not yet loaded, the Graphic Designer Loads Images by placing them in the layout;
