Vjoon K4 Version 7: 

Text Objects on Master Pages are now supported in Article workflows

With vjoon K4 version 7 R1 we implemented full support for text objects on Adobe Master Pages. This was a feature request from several customers.

First version affected: 7 R1
Products affected: K4 Plug-ins for InDesign, InCopy and InDesign Server
Platforms affected: All

Including text from Master Pages results in a different behavior while using the commands 'New Article' and 'Article Options'.
In the K4 Article Options dialog the options 'Add All Text Objects from Layer <Layer>' and 'Add All Text Objects' now also include text from Master Pages, which is not the desired behavior in all situations.
We will extend that feature, an additional option will be added to make the inclusion of text on Master Pages optional.

Implementation: This enhancement is scheduled with high priority for the upcoming vjoon K4 version 7 R3.
