TIMONE System is a very flexible tool, in fact, if you do not implement EMIS, TIMONE Prod and InDesign Server it is possible to work using only TIMONE Plan (the basic way)

Graphic designers look at the flat plan, they create the InDesign files and they change them based on what they see in the flat plan (quantity of pages of the InDesign file, exact pages where they are positioned, title of the editorial service, etc.);

The status of editorial services in TIMONE Plan can be changed manually, so in TIMONE Plan you can see the work in progress of the issue through colors and description of the status of the editorial service;

The editorial status color can be managed in Administration module; to understand how to define them please consult Editorial Status page.

In TIMONE Plan it is possible to able or enable editorial preview clicking on View > Editorial Preview (or ⌘+T) to have a better view of the editorial statuson the fat plan:

To change editorial status manually you have to:

Select the editorial clicking on it on the fat plan or from the editorial list;

2. Click on Status field and select the new status;

3. Save changes Clicking on the green tic;

4. Now the new editorial status will be available from the fat plan; the color of editorial has been changed;

5. Clicking on an editorial you can see its details: the status and the date of the last status change.

To see the previews of the InDesign files in TIMONE Plan, you can upload the PDFs in the flat plan.
