

To create a new editorial, it is necessary to follow the steps below:
1) Open the Issue and choose the tab “Editorials”
2) Click on the icon containing a green +;
3) Fill in the fields in the window showing up on the left side of the screen

Title | the title of your editorial |
File | the file name (the name which is given to the InDesign file when created) is automatically filled in by TIMONE System based on rules that can be predefined in the administration module |
Quantity | the number of pages of the editorial (this quantity can be changed also later) |
Notes | additional notes about the editorial |
Section | the section you want the editorial to be associated with |
Dossier | the WoodWing Enterprise dossier the editorial shall be contained in |
Template | the layout template you want to use for creating the InDesign file in the editorial system (the same layout templates are available in both TIMONE Plan and editorial system - be carefully they are written in the same name in the administration of TIMONE System and of the editorial system). Status | the workflow status of the editorial (the part of the workflow which expects planning and production to be synchronized with one another, will have identical workflow steps in both TIMONE Plan and editorial system). In TIMONE Plan you can also have additional workflow steps (for example "Only planned", when the editorial service is only planned but not yet in production). The status is automatically assigned to editorials based on their work in progress. If the editorial has an InDesign file/layout associated with it, TIMONE Plan reflects the work in progress of the file in the production system. |
4) Once you have filled in all the information you need, confirm using the green tick on the upper left side of the panel.
5) The created editorial is now available within the Editorials list.
