Java Version 1.8.0_121 was released and will be supported on Client side
The Oracle Critical Patch Update for January 2017 was released on January 18th, 2017.

We tested Java version 1.8.0_121 with vjoon K4 version 7 R2, and also with vjoon K4 version 6.10 R3.
Java version 1.8.0_121 will be supported for both versions on Client side.

For installations of Java version 1.8.0_121 on Windows, Oracle published a known issue:
Java Installation will fail for non-admin users with UAC off
The Java installation on Windows will fail without warning or prompting, for non-admin users with User Access Control (UAC) disabled. The installer will leave a directory, jds<number>.tmp, in the %TEMP% directory.
