<hr />General context: Launching TIMONE System clientsProblem that may occur:Performing a downgrade of TIMONE System and using more up to date clients, may cause the clients display a grey window. This is due to the client preferences which need to be downgraded, as well. Affected versions:previous versions to 8.2.0Resolved from version:Starting from version 8.2.0 an advanced management of the client preferences which solves such problems has been introduced.<div>Workaround applicable:</div>On MAC OS X &lt; 10.9, delete the folder PLAN_PRESETS (positioned in the home of the user) and the files it.tellnet.tiller.plist and it.tellnet.gem.plist (located in the user Library/Preferences).<img class="confluence-embedded-image" src="/download/attachments/21037250/unnamed.png?version=1&amp;modificationDate=1747604286309" data-image-src="/download/attachments/21037250/unnamed.png?version=1&amp;modificationDate=1747604286309" data-linked-resource-id="21168459" data-linked-resource-type="attachment" data-linked-resource-default-alias="unnamed.png" data-base-url="http://docs.tellnet.it" data-linked-resource-container-id="21037250" title="null > unnamed.png">Starting with MAC OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) was implemented a caching mechanism of preferences which prevents the deletion of the plist files; in order to overcome this drawback it is necessary to execute the following Terminal commands. $ defaults delete it.tellnet.gemma</pre></td></tr></table>After the execution of the commands it's possible to delete the plist files and then run a TIMONE System client which will create the default preferences. <hr />
